UFC feud explodes after Adesanya’s bizarre post

As for the main event, Du Plessis (21-2) is on a nine-fight win streak, most recently a split decision over Sean Strickland in January to win the middleweight belt.
Adesanya (24-3) has not fought since losing his title to Strickland by unanimous decision last September. This fight has been brewing since Adesanya confronted Du Plessis in the cage at UFC 290, kicking off a series of verbal jabs from both men that at times has become quite nasty.
A couple of days out from the fight, Du Plessis, who admitted to being tasered by his coach during training sessions for making mistakes, alleged Adesanya was trying to get into his head by searching for an image of his penis online.
Adesanya posted a pic of himself next to Du Plessis in basically their underwear, circling the genitalia of both men, referencing Du Plessis’ comments of being the “real African champion”.
“Israel, stop searching for my willy on the internet. It’s weird, it’s very freaking weird man,” Du Plessis responded.
